Apply nowWe are hiring a Business Development Manager – Affiliates & Traders to lead the acquisition, onboarding, and management of affiliates, KOLs, trading houses, and strategic trading partners for our crypto exchange.
This role is responsible for driving user growth, trading volume, and liquidity by building and scaling high-performing partner channels.
You will own partner sourcing, deal structuring, onboarding, activation, and ongoing performance management. This role reports to the Head of Marketing and Partnership.
We are a digital asset and fintech company operating a crypto exchange and related financial infrastructure. Our focus is on building deep liquidity, strong trading volumes, and sustainable ecosystem growth through affiliate networks, KOLs, trading communities, and professional trading partners.
We work closely with crypto influencers, signal groups, proprietary trading firms, market makers, and regional trading communities to scale user acquisition and volume globally.
Identify, source, and onboard affiliates, KOLs, crypto influencers, trading communities, and signal groups.
Recruit professional traders, trading houses, proprietary firms, and market-making partners to trade on the exchange.
Develop regional and global partner pipelines across key crypto markets.
Manage ongoing relationships with affiliates and trading partners.
Monitor partner performance, trading volume, user acquisition, and retention.
Design and optimize commission, rebate, referral, and incentive structures to drive activity.
Activate dormant partners and scale top-performing ones.
Work with trading houses and high-volume traders to grow spot trading volume and order book liquidity.
Coordinate with internal teams to support VIP traders, fee tiers, rebates, and custom arrangements.
Identify opportunities to onboard market makers or liquidity providers.
Plan and execute affiliate and trading campaigns (trading competitions, rebates, volume challenges, referral programs).
Collaborate with marketing and product teams on partner-specific promotions.
Support KOLs with content ideas, campaign materials, and tracking links.
Track affiliate trends, competitor programs, and market incentives.
Provide feedback to leadership on partner performance, regional traction, and growth opportunities.
Recommend improvements to affiliate systems, reporting, and partner tools.
3–7+ years experience in crypto exchange BD, affiliate management, growth, or partnerships.
Proven experience onboarding and managing affiliates, KOLs, or trading partners.
Strong understanding of crypto trading, exchanges, fee structures, rebates, and liquidity dynamics.
Existing network of traders, trading communities, KOLs, or prop trading firms is a major advantage.
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze partner performance.
Comfortable structuring revenue share, CPA, rebate, and volume-based incentive deals.
Self-starter with high ownership and execution ability.
Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
Experience working with iGaming or high-frequency trading communities.
Familiarity with market makers, arbitrage traders, and VIP trading programs.
Experience managing large-scale affiliate programs for exchanges or brokers.
Understanding of compliance considerations around affiliate marketing.
