Experienced Full-Stack Developer – Crypto Payment Gateway (REST API & Web Checkout)

About the Role

We are building a crypto payment gateway that enables merchants to seamlessly accept cryptocurrency payments on their checkout pages. We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to lead the development of our payment website, merchant dashboard, and backend API integrations using an established payment engine (REST API–based).

This role is ideal for someone with strong API integration experience, solid backend skills, and the ability to build clean, reliable checkout flows and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate and work with RESTful payment APIs (payment creation, status checks, callbacks/webhooks).

• Develop and maintain backend services to handle:

  • Payment requests

  • Transaction status updates

  • Webhook/callback handling

  • Merchant configuration and records

• Build secure and user-friendly web checkout pages for crypto payments.

• Develop a merchant dashboard to view transactions, payment statuses, and reports.

• Implement proper security best practices (API key management, signature verification, HTTPS, input validation).

• Work closely with product and management to define payment flows and system architecture.

• Debug, test, and optimize performance for production-level usage.

• Prepare the system for scalability as merchant volume grows.

Required Skills & Experience

Backend

• Strong experience with REST API integration

• Proficiency in at least one backend language/framework:

  • Node.js (JavaScript / TypeScript)

  • Python (Django / Flask / FastAPI)

  • PHP (Laravel)

• Experience handling webhooks, callbacks, async processes

• Solid understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent)

• Familiarity with authentication, signatures, and secure API communication

Frontend

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks:

  • React.js / Next.js / Vue.js

• Ability to build clean checkout UIs and dashboards

Nice to Have (Advantage)

• Experience with payment gateways, fintech systems, or crypto platforms

• Familiarity with crypto payments, wallets, or blockchain concepts

• Experience building merchant dashboards or SaaS platforms

• Understanding of basic security and compliance considerations in payments

• Experience with cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, or similar)
